Psychotherapist

Sara Bazan works with adults, children and families. She specializes in issues relating to anxiety and depression. She is a certified in trauma focused CBT, parent child interactive therapy, child parent psychotherapy, and emotional transformation therapy. For over 10 years she served as a therapist and a clinical supervisor at CALM working with child trauma, anxiety, and family systems. 

Sara has helped thousands of clients gain energy, vitality and focus to achieve their goals and dreams. She helps people decrease stress and improve mental focus and mindset so they can reach their fullest potential. She uses psychodynamic theory in conjunction with cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems, and attachment theory. Sara believes in maximizing results and minimizing the time needed through the use of neuro-linguistic programming and emotional transformation techniques. She also incorporates expressive art to build resilience and self esteem in her clients. 

She is bilingual in both Spanish and English. 

Sara earned her master’s degree in clinical psychology from Antioch University in Santa Barbara after receiving her bachelor’s degree in Human Development from Pacific Oaks College in Pasadena.
