Psychology

Dr. Kathy Taylor works with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Coming from a psychodynamic lens, she offers therapies that focus on reducing symptoms of anxiety, depression, and trauma, while exploring the narrative of one’s life experience. She has specific expertise in helping those recovering from sexual trauma. 

Dr. Taylor has provided professional training for teachers and school administrators, helping them build positive learning environments by building respectful relationships with students. She has extensive experience providing parent workshops in schools and churches, with the purpose of helping parents set healthy boundaries while keeping their child’s dignity intact. She is a former high school teacher and has 5 years of clinical experience assessing children and adults who may have Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Dr. Taylor is a licensed clinical psychologist who earned her PhD at Pacifica Graduate Institute in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Depth Psychology, and her masters degree at The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology, in Counseling Psychology.  She was a graduate assistant instructor at The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology while earning her PhD.
