Eli Katz, MD
Eli Katz, M.D., treats adults and seniors of all ages. He has a unique interest in working with patients on issues related to, but not limited to: mental illness, personality disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), depressive disorder, depression, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, manic depressive disorder, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), sleep disorders, insomnia and mood disorders.
Dr. Katz has been board certified in psychiatry and neurology since 1986 and has wide experience in treating the full range of psychiatric conditions.
Dr. Katz earned his medical degree with honors from Hahnemann University in Philadelphia and also served his psychiatric residency at Hahnemann University Hospital. He taught psychiatry at Temple University and the University of Pennsylvania. He has served as the medical director for multiple psychiatric centers and services, including the Senior Mental Health Unit at Santa Barbara’s former Saint Francis Hospital.
