Alyson Huneycutt, PhD
Dr. Alyson Huneycutt treats children and adults of all ages. She has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families dealing with trauma, abuse, anxiety, PTSD, depression, adoption, blended families and cultural/ethnic issues. She incorporates cognitive behavioral, systems and psychodynamic theory in her treatment approach. She is fluent in Spanish and has lived in Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Guatemala.
Dr. Huneycutt earned her master’s degree in community and clinical counseling at Eastern University in Pennsylvania. She also earned a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy and a doctorate in Clinical Counseling at Alliant University. Her undergraduate work was in English and education at Westmont College.
